This summer we have a lot going on. Edulastic is turning 5, we are growing, we moved offices, and we are working on big new updates to Edulastic! We are thrilled to have two wonderful interns join us this summer to help with all the work on our plate.

These two new members of our marketing have already begun to dive into projects with us and you might see their names around the blog or our Edulastic Community page. We are thrilled to have their help this summer as we continue to support Educators around the country and internationally.

Amy Wang

Hello everyone! My name is Amy and I’m a rising sophomore at UC Berkeley studying Economics/Business. I’m a Bay Area native and in my free time I love to spend time with my friends, explore nature, try cool new food spots, and watch Netflix. I’m super passionate about education and marketing so I’m thrilled to be joining the Edulastic team this summer!

Allena Avilla

Hello! My name is Allena, and I am looking forward to working for the Edulastic team this summer! I am going to be a senior at Cal Poly SLO next year with a double major in English and Modern Languages and Literatures. Some of my favorite texts I have read so far in my classes include the following: Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Sagrada memoria by Marjorie Agosín, and Zadie Smith’s White Teeth. When I’m not studying or working, I love to experiment with new recipes in my kitchen (especially after watching the Great British Baking Show or Bon Appetit’s Youtube channel). While working as Digital Marketing Intern this summer, I am hoping to grow both personally and professionally as I learn exciting new skills and strengthen previous skills.

One of the first things we had Amy and Allena do was make a fun assessment on Edulastic. Making a fun assessment is a great way to get to know Edulastic and provides a good tool for introducing other to Edulastic. Check out two of the fun assessments below or on the blog!
