When planning instruction and assessments, some educators prefer to work with pre-made content, while others opt to author their own items and assessments. Authoring items provides educators with the freedom to create content specific to their class and pacing. Sometimes educators create fresh content with teams or independently for their students so they can cater the assessment that will best gauge student understanding.

Edulastic offers a way to create robust questions that can either be very simple or intricate. You can choose from over 50 Technology Enhanced Item(TEI) types from multiple choice to drag and drop, graphing, or label an image. The basic authoring tools are straightforward, intuitive to navigate, and enable you to convey your ask to students in the best way possible. Additionally, there are advanced tools and settings to customize and fine-tune any given TEI.

If you are new to authoring in Edulastic or want to brush up on your authoring knowledge, register for our upcoming seminar.
